Event Details
When: Friday, May 9th, 2025
Where: Springfield Country Club - Registration Opens at 11:30 am / Shotgun Start 12:30 pm.
Paxon Hollow Golf Club - Registration Opens at 12:00 pm / Shotgun Start 1:00 pm.
Dinner at Anthony’s Paxon Hollow 6:30-9:30 pm
Golfers will check in at their perspective course and be ready to play for a 12:30PM shotgun start at Springfield and 1pm shotgun start at Paxon. Golfers, friends, and family are invited to dinner and drinks at 6:30pm at Anthony’s Paxon Hollow (ballroom). Tickets to dinner will be available to purchase online as well as at the door.
The Outing
The EBMSF Committee is thrilled that we have been able to keep Ed’s memory alive through the EBMSF Golf Outing since his passing in 2014. The dedication and support of countless friends, family members, and local businesses has made this event more incredible than we could have ever imagined! We are thankful to have had the outing be completely full for 10 consecutive years. At this time, we have a running waitlist for individuals and/or foursomes to golf each year! If you’re not a golfer, please join us for Dinner at Anthony’s Paxon Hollow.
The Mission of the EBMSF is to provide tuition assistance to deserving students & families in Delaware County and the surrounding Philadelphia area. We are focused on continued Catholic Education, and feel we can provide the biggest impact for families making the jump from grade school to high school. We are also fully committed to supporting local community organizations and families in need. We are proud to say we have committed over $250,000 in scholarships & $370,000 in total community support since our inception in 2015.
Ed’s Legacy
Ed was larger than life and impacted every person he met - from his countless family members and friends, to the many young people he coached. He was involved in virtually every aspect of his children’s education and youth sports within the Delaware County community. We believe it would be his honor and privilege to continue to impact his community and young people alike even after his life here on earth!
Remembering Abby DeFruscio
This year we lost an integral member of the EBMSF committee. Abby was the heart of this event and the reason it has gained so much success over the years. As a lifelong friend determined to keep Ed’s legacy alive, Abby was dedicated to making the Golf Outing a great success for 10 years straight. We honor his hard work and commitment as we continue the event moving forward. Thank you, Abby! You are truly missed by the EBMSF community.
